Given very little has changed between the version, yet the latest version definitely seems less stable, I can think of 2 potential issues:

1) There is a problem with OpenGL. Can you pls use the ArchiCAD camera setting of "Internal Renderer" instead of OpenGl and tell me if this resolves the issue.

2) If it is not 1) then I can only think that the libaries I have added to render the background image when alphachannel is on is causing the problem. If the issue is not 1) above, I will repackage a release without the Background Image functionality to see if that solves the problem.

Also, if you can email me any crash reports (see the TEST release thread for their location) that will help.

EDIT: If you can give me details about what you where doing when you got the crash, that will help too.

I have reinstalled the 1.20.1.4 version and for now zero crashes... I'm very bussy with the project, when I finished then I send you the pln and the crash log. The crash was aleatory, sometimes when I pick a object in the opengl windows, sometime when I pick a material in the octene window... If I dont open the octane window I dont have crash... The scene has about 1.000.000 polygons and now I have 16 gigas of ram and a i7 at 2.96 ghz and two graphics card (650ti and 660)

I was finally able to replicate the crash and found and fixed the problem. Hopefully this is the problem that was causing the crash you were getting.

See http://render.otoy.com/forum/viewtopic. ... 92#p153592 for details.

Pls let me know how you go with the update.

It seems to work well! Many many thanks. The park has a lot of trees and the copy paste for proxies its a superb adition. The copy-paste works until you close the file. Then the object lose the proxie properties, but you can copy the object itselt and works perfect!!!
