Ok now all works like it did in the demo version.
Just one more question: Where do I find the max2Octane script?

That is not a part of 3dsmax plugin.
It should be somewhere on the forum.

Hmm where in the forum?
I spent quite some time finding it but wasn;t successfull. I think it should be included in the installer.
