amazing. I would love to see a tutorial from you on your lighting and material techniques if you would be willing to share. It would be like learning from a grand master ninja.

Yes superb work. I would be interested in some insite into some of your textures too. Especially the slight bump on the painted surface, and the random (ish) noise on some of the silver bits.

ciao beppe
I have got a lot of jobs lately so an animated version is unlikely to happen!

smicha wrote:you are gifted. Great work.
I wouldn´t say that I´m gifted. I sat in front of the computer half my life and sacrificed a lot to get there!

glimpse wrote:agree on that =) for this You need something more than "just technical knowledge" - amazing shots =)
& please share some more when/if You have =)
Thanks a lot. Appreciate your kind words!

Thanks. I used Direct Lighting with a ray depth of 5 and the GI mode with 3 Bounces.
For lighting I used an HDRI in the Image Env. And two colored arealights.

Thanks a lot! Yes the modeling and the texturing were quite time cinsuming. I love octanes interactive lighting. You get feesback so quick that you almost feel like in an real studio!

There´s not a lot more to show here... I only die what is visible in the renders ;-)

Hey thanks. I have been calles many things but never a ninja. I quite like that!
It isn´st all that fancy as it might look like. Just found the right HDRI to light the scene with. Then played around with the lights. I wanted complementary lighting so I knew I´d need to use two. Just moved them arround till it looked good... :-)

Thanks. If you are familiar with physical attributes of materials then learning a new render engine suddenly becomes real easy. Maybe I will make a basic text tut desribing basic material values and how you can increase realism using textures in all kind of slots.

Thanks a lot. As I said above I might in future. But Right now I´m busy with Jobs so that will have to wait. Unfortunately for you!

Thanks for all your feedback. Hadn´t expected so much! Thanks a lot!

Cheers,
