I must say I am not happy with the way Octane works as this point. Had I known that all materials, lights and other stuff could not be C4D, but had to be Octane, I would have never bought it.
I have bother to hear this. But did not try demo of plugin and standalone before paying. Maybe admin can help you

because environment is casting more illumination than arealight. you must decrease environment color

At his point I am very unhappy with my purchase due to its performance. I would like to permanently
deactivate the software and get a refund.

What is the best way to do this process?

After I deactivate the Octane Standard software at the website, how will I be reimbursed?
