I always just rename my octane binary "octane.app" to avoid spaces. I never used it with spaces in the name but it should be addressed by the plug in - adding escape characters. Otherwise, I'd just recommend to Terrence to just keep the binary as octane.app and if you need to keep different versions for betas, do octaneb22.app etc.

did u try new ver?

i made some small changes with spaces, so now it doesn't matters where the octan render is, and if there r or not spaces in the path location ;)

I'll poke around some more. It's areal robust script. You've done a great job.

Will let you know if I find anything. Mine works fine on 2010 in windows too... So its definitely a Mac issue.
Time for you to bulid a hackintosh from an older pc : > )

On a different issue... I could put this on a different post if you like.

On windows 7 Maya 2010 is the gpu count for two cards 1 ( zero and one) or two for two cards?

Kinda Dumb question... But i am checking to see if i am getting errors on my dual cards freezing or if it's coming from that number causing an issue.

Thanks

Peter

by default (if u have 1 gpu cart) its 0, so if u have 2 gpu cards then its 0 1 ;)
