So trying to learn, is my memory limit 1.5 gb ram or 3gb ram?

Best
a gtx 580 with 3g is always 3gb; only the dual-gpu 590 sold as "3gb" is in fact 2*1.5gb...

A 580 is just a single processor. It uses the whole 3GB. It is only the 590 which is effectively 2 x 580s which split the memory.

Just ran the standard benchmark scene and got 21.09Ms/Sec. Pretty good I think.

2 x 560gtx + 1 x 460gtx

Just the 2 560s scored about 16Ms/sec

steveps3, the standard bench is set to direct light iirc, you have to change to pathtracing to get real results. :)

Cheers, mib.

Surely the "standard" should be as it comes out of the box. When I change to pathtracing I get about 4.5Ms/sec.

to be honest: this is a little slow for 3 4/560 cars ;)
imo.
i'd say you should see something between 5.5 and 6ms/sec - depending on the clocks of your cards...

With all three cards I get 6.03Ms/Sec. The other score was with just the 2 560s running.
