Now that's a critic

Thanks, color are beautiful because they come from real life HDRIs
Even if they are blurred, the chromatics are better than if I used CGI generated HDRIs or emmiters
I use smart IBL archive HDRIs, you can found them + others in this topic http://www.refractivesoftware.com/forum ... f=21&t=146

How to do that ?
Import a mesh, tweak the HDRI and camera curve, use your eyes... and done ;)
I don't share the other little ingredients, you could do the same thing using 3DCoat eventually

added a new picture to the first post ;)
Its a simple cube with voxel noise in it on a studio background
I pushed tranmission to the maximum and used an HDRI of a studio lighting

cube is gr8.

I got some volume shader in xsi doing that but I cant bake it to geo.

Really nice ideas. Pls keep going :) when You have time

Thanks, its a simple one but I found sometimes simple things work better :D
Currently I don't have motivation to make more renders, but I will do them specially for you

Volume shader in XSI ? Like volumetric fog ? That's nice !
I played with volumetric wood shaders in Cinema 4D, they are nice but not really photorealistics

Yea :) simple objects are harder to lit nice :)

Volume shader in XSI ? Like volumetric fog ? That's nice ! ========= Yea volume rox :) there are many of them in xsi.
