Hello,
Does anybody know if there's such a thing as a round PCI-E riser cable? I'm planning to build a new PC and having round cables instead of flat ribbon ones would make routing/cable manegement easier.
I've tried searching for it but haven't been able to find anything so far. Is there a reason for them all being flat ribbon cables?
Thanks in advance,
Rico

Good day, Rico.
if You would be looking at "round" PCIe risers You most likely are going to find at most x4 gen3. X8 ans X16 will only come as flat ribbon or rigid form.
what are You building?

I'm considering a desk mounted PC so I thought that round cables would be easier to route if the GPUs were located away from the MB. Something like this:
It's not essential though. I'll probably only have two GPUs so it shouldn't be very complicated with flat cables.
Thanks for your input.
