That is insanely fast!
I had made a few tests in Real Flow in getting a good looking, proper smooth mesh. I will have another try in getting a mesh for you.

Love the real world physics and super real rendering quality of this abstract subject.

Train smoke does sound like Arun exercise, though are you actually planning on using Real Flow to simulate the smoke?

I've only spent a couple hours playing with realflow but there appears to be something wierd about the alembic export: it seems to export a sequence of "mesh" files in alembic format instead of a single alembic scene with a single deforming mesh. Anyone know if that's the expected behaviour or am I just a bit slow?
I was attempting to recreate the stargate fwoosh where the event horizone swooshes like a giant bubbling teardrop before snapping back and settling into a pond like surface.
I basically poured a sphere shape through a hoop into a mould which I made in zbrush of the shape of the fwoosh and let it simulate forwards. I think it more or less worked but it will require a ton of post work to composite everything together if it's an object sequence I need to manually load and render individually then re-composite back into a clip. I was hoping I could get the deforming mesh as an alembic file. But I appear to be doing something wrong.

Is is possible to still get the script ? I think the dropbox link is not working. This would be amazing.

The script in question was really a very hacky thing.. I unfortunately also don't have the scene anymore.
