OctaneBench - CUDA powered ATV

Hey guys,
I didn't plan to enter the competition at all, but I got this little idea a few days ago and thought that it could be a nice bench scene.
I had some spare time to work on it today. Everything is modeled from scratch.
I know there's not much time left so I'm not sure if can finish it in time.

Here's how far I got today. It's a CUDA powered ATV. :)

The idea is definitely spot on and your ATV will surely be a killer:) Big modelling work already done, the only thing that I would suggest at this stage is rounding the tires' treaded part a bit.
I hope you won't run out of time - it's easy to imagine your finished work will look stunning.

Good luck

Thanks.
Well the tire tread is actually kind of sharp like that. At least on the reference I have here. I made it rounder at first, but then tweaked it to be sharper. So I don't know...

Ok, the treads probably differ according to their purpose. I've seen the round ones on Dakar Rally machines, but I suppose they are useless on anything but sand...
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for your project. Remember about the time difference between Europe and NZ (matej has recently pointed this out).

Good luck,
Szymon

Thanks!
If the end date is in NZ time, then I don't have enough time for textures.

Model is done. 8-)

@glimpse:
Thanks for the info and sorry for the mistake :oops: I must have been really tired when I read RayTracey's post.

@suvakas:
ATV's getting really tasty now. Can't wait for the final version!

Cheers,
Szymon
