Octane 2022.1 for C4D 2024 Tweet

I find this version "Octane 2022.1" to be very stable and I hope otoy will release a plugin for C4D 2024 soon for this version of octane

We found "Octane-C4D-2022.1_R10" to be the most stable so far

when we deply 2022.1.1.xxx we get all kinds of crashes and stability problems.

I hope there will be a C4D 2024 plugin for that great version we are using now.

version 2022.1.2 is very stable, and better than 2021.1-R10, please write to help at otoy dot com asking for Beppe, so I can better investigate what kind of issues you are having with latest stable version, thanks.

Maybe you misread what I typed, I mentioned version "2022.1.R10" and not "2021.1-R10"
on our small farm, this is the most stable version with almost 0 crashes or cuda problems.
I hope Otoy takes this suggestion into consideration, adding support for C4D 2024 into that specific version.
We don't wish to move to other engines but when it comes to stability, it could be a decisive factor in the end.

CUDA errors are Nvidia driver related, not c4doctane related.

Please also note that C4D 2024 is pretty new, and needs recent Studio Nvidia driver to work correctly without CUDA error 700.

It's not possible to do. Because I've done many revisions to get 2024 workable. Not possible to do same for an old branch

Just an example of what we have been going through with every version after 2022.1.R10
sometimes black, sometimes green, sometimes the machine freezes.

thanks for sharing the video, but it is not very helpful, sorry.
it is not possible to see the exact version of C4D/c4doctane used, and the structure of the scene.
Please share your scene, or the exact steps to reproduce the issue.

but as I said it happens "Randomly" in all versions of C4D if Octane is higher than 2022.1.R10
