Hi
I downloaded the media player 3.0 and google chrome.
I have been able to get to the point where in the chrome browser displays the message "WebCL service and ORBX media Server installed and Running".
now I am stuck I tried to drag an ORBX to the mid screen of the browser but nothing happens. I also read in some post something about having an "options" button when right clicking on "ORBX media server" on the notification area, I do not have an options button. does anyone have a video or procedures how to view an orbx on a PC?
thanks

Hey 1190xr,

The current build of the ORBX Media Server is mostly focused on desktop & browser sharing for the GearVR via ORBX Media Player & Oculus Social Beta.

if you have more questions around this, please feel free to PM me.

Cheers,

J.

Our interest would be in using the desktop to control the experience a client is having while viewing a design on the gear vr.

I.e move them from one cube map to the next, see what they are looking at so we can talk through various points with them. We would like to be able to have multiple head sets connected to the desktop at once as most meetings involve several people from the client side.

It sounds like this might be possible, but I can't see how to set it up. Any info would be appreciated.

Thx

I agree, guiding multiple clients through a tour would be awesome! Currently the closest thing I know to this kind of function is the spectator mode on theViewer.co
