This is the recommended thread for downloading, and posting any questions, suggestions or support queries for OctaneRender for Nuke - STABLE RELEASE.

Nuke Version
This version requires Nuke 8, 9 or 10 (incl NukeX and Nuke Studio) on Window Vista, 7 or 8, Linux or OSX - 64bit. OctaneRender for Nuke is NOT supported on Nuke Non-Commercial.

Nvidia Driver Version
This release requires Nvidia drivers 344.x or later.

Network Rendering
For Network Rendering, you must use the Octane slave release 3.03.3.

If you have a support issue, pls provide the following information:
- Operating System (ie. Win XP, Vista, 7, 8)
- 32 or 64 bit
- Amount of RAM
- Graphics Card(s) - model (ie. GTX 580, 3GB)
- Nvidia driver version
- Nuke version and SR number
- OctaneRender for Nuke version (ie. 2.0.10.16)
- List what other plugins you have installed for Nuke
- The most important part of resolving a problem is me being able to re-produce that problem. So pls provide as much detail as possible in order for me to do this, and if the problem is specific to the scene, send me the scene.

Known Issues
- The "Authenticating Octane" dialog is blank on the Linux version.

I have refreshed the Windows plugin installers at the top of this thread with:

3.0.1.23
- Compiled with Octane 3.0 alpha 2
- Added many new Render Passes
- Added Deep Image settings to the kernel settings (via the node graph). Direct passing of Deep Image pixels into the Nuke node system is not supported.

* KNOWN ISSUE : Plugging an Octane Material node into a Cube will crash Nuke if the Cube is an input to the Scanline Renderer. This probably occurred in the 2.24.2 version of the plugin too.

As this is the first build on the Octane 3 version of the plugin, plus use caution, and make backup of your scenes prior to using with this version.

I have finally been able to resolve the issues getting the plugin to work under OSX, so there is now a working OSX version. If you would be to beta test the OSX release, pls msg me and I will organise a trial license.

Hi - I just tested caching and writing in Nuke9.0v8 and it was working fine for me. For example, Set viewer frame range from 1 to 10, untick OctaneRender->Nuke Sets Octane Render Pass, tick OctaneRender->Cache Renders, set the max samples to 20, Start rendering, click the play button in the Viewer - and each frame is rendered in Octane and cached by Nuke. Can you provide some more specific details/workflow for what is not working for you?

I have been using Nuke 10 (beta, I know) for quite some time now.
Do you think it would be possible recompile a version for nuke 10?

Plugin Load Failed!

OctaneRender.so is for NUKE 9.0 and not compatible with the version of NUKE you are running (10.0v1.001232b). You will need to obtain an update from the plugin vendor.

Error: /opt/octanerender-nuke-3.0.4/OctaneRender.bundle/OctaneRender.so: symbol _ZN2DD5Image2Op19DDImage_ABI_9_0_002Ev, version Foundry_1.0 not defined in file libDDImage.so with link time reference
