How to compose environment AOV?

Hi, I'm new to compositing (I'm using fusion) and I can't find how to "merge" my environment AOV/pass (wich is my octane visible environment in my C4D scene ). It always takes effect on all of my final image.

I tried to merge it and tried every boolean operations but none gave me the correct result. Maybe I should mask it but there is no such pass with Octane's AOVs.

Please tell my if my question is unclear, thank you!

There likely will be more replies in an accordingly suited compositing online place as outside of Octane scope but to answer, if I recall correctly, the default merge operation should do it automatically. Granted the data is appropriate for compositing (OpenEXR).
