If I am switching between PC/Mac in Cinema 4D, which version of Octane should I use on Windows to allow compatibility with PR11?
I read PR11 was based off 2020.1, is that right ?
Should I use 2020.1.5-R4 ?

Or is this story similar to something unknown and can drag on for years of experiments without getting a result? I can't wait indefinitely. Maybe I should switch to windows immediately or it makes sense to wait about 1 more month and get super speed on my MacBook M1MAX. So much time has already passed and there is no progress, it seems that rendering on m1 is something impossible but perhaps promising in the future. Now the render time on m1 is ridiculous.
I really hope you will answer and give your point of view, after so many hours of development experience.
Hi,
have you tried with the following Standalone version for M1 native only?
https://render.otoy.com/downloads/a2/d0 ... ctaneX.dmg

Today Otoy said on the Mograph Slack "Most plug-ins will get 2022.1 update with XB1 coming soon with full plug-in SDK and Octane X support on Metal too"

Wow. This works great. Thank you.
The 104th page of a forum thread seems a bit of an odd place to release this. Could it be added to the user downloads page, or highlighted on the first page or something?
