Maya 2018 Plug-In, Bump Maps not working.

Hi, I'm new to Octane and I've run into an issue that I've been unable to find the answer for.

When I try to use bump maps they don't work, the diffuse maps work fine also displacement maps,
but when I use the bump maps with Arnold or the Redshift demo they work fine. So what am I doing wrong?

I make an Octane material either Diffuse / Glossy, I then link an Octane Image Texture for the diffuse,
then I make another Octane Image Texture for the bump, I've also tried Float Texture with no luck. Power
and lighting also made no difference and neither did the scale of the objects.

So if someone would please take the time to explain what I am doing wrong I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you, I will read through it.

Fixed it, oddly enough it had to do with the default Gamma 2.200 being to high, set it to 0.250 and the bump map shows now.
