This it my little with list:
1. Alfa channel
2. Falloff map - to use it as mask or control reflections.
3. Dirt/Ambient occlusion map (and dont tell me you can do it via Global Illum - its not that!) - to mix other maps or collors.
4. fixed nodes UI - nodes still can be moved out of screen forever. (
5. buttons for viewport control - need zoom controllers and scrolls. Im use Octane to render real big images (5000x5000) and have problem to control it.
6. GPU Instances - instances to GPU its not problem. We need it. Cause GPU have low RAM and instances will help with it. Games have instances, why Octane not? )
7. GPU Testlation/Subdivision - I use simple models, but I need it be smooth even on 5000x5000 so I subdivide it x3 times.. and after thet I have about 3 milions polys of real geometry.. (( Games can do GPU realtime teselations and Im sure Octan need it to.
8. Addaptive tracing - lot of space on image its Backgroung or plane surfaces. Im sure will be faster to analize once per 10-20 samples image to find empty or smooth zones to avoid it for sampling. Im sure its will speedup Octane it few times.
9. UI Node Inspector fix - not always work fine. Sometimes than something changes - menu scrolled up to start. ((
