Has anyone seen any octanebench scores for the new Nvida GTX 1080? Curious to see how it's going to run with octane.

We would need to update the OctaneBench tool and that will require CUDA toolkit version 8, which hasn't been released yet (see https://devblogs.nvidia.com/parallelfor ... -revealed/). We also don't have a GTX 1080 at the office yet. Until then you won't see any Octane benchmarks of Pascal hardware. And yes, we are also curious how it compares to Maxwell.

Ahh I see, would a 1080 be compatible with forthcoming v3 release?

Not initially (for the same reasons as above), but we will make it compatible as soon as possible.

There was another thread here somewhere where somebody had some tests. I believe the current unoptimized GTX 1080 speed was still slower than a GTX 980 TI.
