At the top for renderer it shows Octane.
What type of files from Octane match the input from Altus?

Don't think you can render world position and visibility (for now).

I would do anything for de-noise like this!! It's painful that after a 5000+ sample render there's still a lot of noise in images.

Agreed! This could be a real huge step, especially for big and complex vr panos, which can really take a while...

Personally I would pay for such a feature...

Interesting discussion over at the Corona forum:
https://corona-renderer.com/forum/index ... 0/all.html

Goldorak, you said you already developed a denoising system; are you guys still working on it?
Corona will probably have this feature in the upcoming version...

At least for our studio an integrated denoiser would be more important than all the new V3 features.

I completely agree. For large print renders I'm often handicapped by my render times, some of which actually take longer for me to do than what it took to put the scene together and then combined with the inevitable (and often unenviable) client changes....

Some form of integration of Altus or a comparable development of a built in denoiser that does the same thing would be amazing for project workflow and timelines for those of us who can't afford 20 grand+ in computer hardware. XD

Hey Guys (& Gals), seems like Goldorak already noted that you'll be able to use Altus with outputs from Octane V3.
I'm looking forward to testing this out and giving feedback as he requested...

Can forsee export presets being handy for getting all the settings and passes setup & read to go; then the save-to button would serve as the prompt to save-out the passes set using the preset...

Goldorak wrote:Once the major V3 features are completed, we'll be able to shift focus to overall speed improvements which may prove more optimal than simple denoisers.

Or, Goldorak, we could use your speed improvements AND a denoiser   :D
