They had reached out to our team not too long ago. We're testing it internally and validating it against the new render passes being added in V3 which will be needed to support this properly (many of which are going to be int he alpha release). I have been told it looks promising. We'll keep you posted as we get more info.

It would be good to see any results that Otoy are getting using it. Maybe I dont need another cubix after all :D

This is the sh%t. Getting this working seamlessly as a plugin to Octane could halve render times if the press release stuff is to be believed
