Hey really old post but still a great need in projects. I opened a project i did with 2020 version and the script was working ok.
In 2021 latest stable the script doesnt work proper, the buttons "refresh lv" and "reflections" etc as well as the orientation is always broken.

Could u please check if this is working on ur end? Also if there is another way that i am not aware of adding a bg based on camera and have control also on reflections etc?

It seems to work as expected here on 2021.1.1-R2:

P.S. the "Refresh Live View" button is a fake, it just try to add a click to call the Live View refresh.

thanks for posting this update. this is a fantastic gift and should be better implemented in octane for C4D as a native workflow.
