Hi,
I am on Octane 2023.1 for C4D and the save beauty option in the AOV settings saves the beauty pass right next to my project file when I render via C4D render queue. (C4D R21)
It does not use the specified path of AOV. The "Save" Tick in normal c4d render settings is of course not ticked.

Please note that reports of issues inside existing threads will be ignored/removed, and reports may be closed if the reporter does not respond to subsequent queries in the thread.

That's the problem!
It is a known issue of C4D Render Queue, if you search in the forum you should find other discussions.
The workaround is to specify a Save path, then delete the C4D results.
