This has affected me since moving to octane 2022 from 2021. When rendering images in the render queue, projects will randomly render all hdr skies as 100% black. Lights still work, its just the sky that fails. It affects the c4d render queue and the "render all takes to picture viewer". If an image renders black, I can immediately re-render without changing anything, and it will render fine.
There is no rhyme or reason to when this happens. It affects all projects randomly and affects multiple different systems, All textures are in the local /tex folder. It is a boring exr texture that I have used a thousand times before, theres no weird filenames or network paths. I can't send a file because there is no specific project which causes it, the problem just randomly occurs every 100 or so renders. It happened 3 times yesterday on my local workstation (GF3090, ryzen 5950x, 128gb, win 11) and twice on our render machines (2x 4090, 2x4090, 5x quadro p6000)
Has anyone else come across this? If it were just my machine then I might be able to blame a driver, but this is affecting multiple systems all at the same time.
