Scene running smooth in R21 but laggy in S22

Hey folks,
I'm having an issue regarding the latest C4D S22: When working on a scene, the manipulation of an object (e.g. movement) is extremely laggy, and most of the time the LV doesn't apply the changes at all. Here you can find 2 screen recordings for comparison: Same scene running in R21 and then in S22 with said lag. Do you have any ideas what could cause this issue? I noticed that the lag is even more extreme when a cloner is part of the scene. But the problem is still there when I delete the cloner, just bit less.
Many thanks in advance.

Specs:
Windows 10
64 GB RAM
Nvidia Studio Driver 442.92
2x 2080 Ti
C4D R21 / S22 with latest updates
Octane Enterprise 2020.1

Cheers,
Oly

Thanks for reporting it. As you know you're using R21 build in S22 and I can't accept it as a bug for me. There can be several reasons and I can't say nothing without testing. A special build for S22 or R22 will be done in time.

Okay, so I will just wait for the update then. I thought it would already be compatible, because the forum post states "Note that R21 builds are compatible with S22 and you can use R21 builds in S22". This seems a bit misleading then. Maybe it should say "compatible, but with some restrictions" or so.

Oly

Well, compatibility is a word from Maxon, not me. They said R21 plugins will work, annoying to hear these kinds of comments about somethings not from me.

There's been issues with Corona for C4D as well so while Maxon is saying plugins should be compatible there do appear to be some issues there that the devs need to work around.
