Octane light beams on analytic lights is meant to replicate a volumetric spotlight and works well for the most part. However, when using an universal camera with optical vignetting (more settings could cause this, but that's what caused it for me in this instance) beams that are meant to be hidden show up.
For example, the beams of lights that are behind a wall, not visible to the camera, show up when optical vignetting is enabled.
