The render layer option doesn't work in this release.
In this example render the cude on the left has Layer ID 2.

Hi
my Octane couldn't finalize render tonemapping .
i turn on ACEs tonemapping in camera and turn on force tonemapping in octane render settings
but save my render in LDR mode

It works here, re-download the R5 and try again.

Hi,
What did you mean with "couldn't finalize"?
ACES (checkbox or OCIO) shouldn't be paired with "Force Tonemapping". That's going to force a double "LDR process" on the output. The ACES (checkbox or via OCIO) contains an ODT (Output-sRGB).
A link for a deeper understanding of Octane Color Management and export options.

i mean's in my Live Viewer ACEs applying on render
but when I render, it doesn't apply

I don't know if it ever did since I never used it before, but:

Render Layer don't work with Diffuse Filter AOV. Reflection Filter seems to work, same as most of the other ones I tried. Diffuse Filter show always all the objects and ignores render layer.

Enable OCIO color in Project preferences and Image Viewer.

Yes, in this scene and other with Octane light it always happens when clicking the Octane light.
CPU – i9 13900KF, 128GB RAM, GPU – RTX 4090
