Hi All,
This is next test/preview release of plugin which is based on V4-XB3 SDK. We recommend that you mention that it is experimental, they should not use it for production work, and that we cannot guarantee backward compatibility.

Important notes:
Since XB2 Preview, we have dropped support for Fermi cards.
Network render is still disabled.
Denoiser does not denoise volumes or hairs yet.
Denoiser is under Camera Imager from Settings or Camera Tags. Just denoised beauty pass is available in plugin, others will be added.

Changes of V4-XB3
- Help support for the Nodes in Node Editor
- Geometry Engine default changed to "All Movable"
- Visualisation for VDB voxels

Changes of V4-XB2.1 test2
- Fixed random material preview crashes, mostly on LiveDb
- Fix: error on OSX and reading of ScatterObject/csv files
- Added: New universal material to Octane Material and Blend material
- New options in Instance Color and XP emitter

Addons for plugin side
- Viewport rendering: Activate from Live Viewer/Octane dialog options menu. Keep open the one of these windows during the render session.
- Node Editor: Experimental float sliders on nodes. Need to activate from "settings->nodes->embedded gui".
- Node Editor: Show/hide options for node pins.
- New help system, updated manual(it's still wip). Access by help icons from nodes/etc..
- Several minor fixes.

Requirements:
-You'll need to update your Cinema 4D to latest versions(R16.050, R17.053, R18.057, R19.053). Otherwise the plugin will not work and not appear in menus.
-Internet connection for activation, be sure that C4D and Octane will not be blocked by firewall and any antivirus software.
-Updated Nvidia drivers(most recents like 39x.x) with Cuda 9.1 - change driver versions if you have much trouble with current driver

Installation
First remove all octane related stuff from plugins and main folder of Cinema4D.

Extract all files to Cinema4D\plugins\c4dOctane directory.
Also download manual.zip and extract to c4dOctane directory if it's not available in place.

There are a few files for each one is for different Cinema4D version. Remove all except the file is for your version.
Ex. if you have Cinema4D R18.0, keep only "c4dOctane-r18.cdl64" and delete c4dOctane-r17.cdl64, c4dOctane-r16.cdl64, c4dOctane-r15.cdl64, etc..

Cinema 4D Release 15: c4dOctane-r15.cdl64 or c4doctane_R15_demo.dylib
Cinema 4D Release 16: c4dOctane-r16.cdl64 or c4doctane_R16_demo.dylib
Cinema 4D Release 17: c4dOctane-r17.cdl64 or c4doctane_R17_demo.dylib
Cinema 4D Release 18: c4dOctane-r18.cdl64 or c4doctane_R18_demo.dylib

It seems that WINDOWS SUBSCRIPTION(Studio) BUILD has MAC file linked to download.

Greetings I have this bump that I cannot render to Picture Viewer an old v3.08 scene in this version (XB3 R1), Live viewer renders fine. the picture viewer stays at 0.013% in the octane lower status bar

Version XB2.1 (Test2) renders perfectly the same scene and all the passes without issue and without apparent visual differences.

Sadly I cannot share the scene, but I'm sharing screenshots from the Pv and the console in case any errors pops up

I think it's about a bug on gpu manager of plugin. It looks like stoped due don't have any gpu on rendering.

Our intention was to have net render for XB4, but this is looking unlikely now. At the moment, it could be XB5, but we'll have more detail on this soon.

I'm having this same issue. Just hangs after the first few samples are rendered. Renders fine in Live Viewer.

I've made a quick fix for this issue. It was a problem on Windows version. Please re-download and install it again.

Ahmet, OSL is running super smooth in this version! I have been using (and abusing) Raytype script all day and not one hiccup so far. Great work!

Now we just need that UI for projection pins and we're complete. I have a few more scripts I have been preparing to port over.
