If I disablethe "show passes" parameter, rendering can proceed, but the output image will not have Denoised beauty.
It's a new issue after C4D update on some CPU types. What's your CPU?

Even trying with and without "Show Passes", in "EXR (Octane) or "EXR", trying compression other than DWAA/DWAB... I still haven't found the right combination to get all my passes and the denoised beauty.

I know that I also had some issues (unsaved passes) when choosing DWAA/B compression and that it worked with other compression (maybe not related but if you want to check with this compression too).
I'll be happy to try this Octane version (and futur R6) but later as I'm working on some stills that I need to deliver soon. I'm still very very new to Octane, but since last night I've been able to get all my passes and the denoised beauty like this with the R5 (but it’s with “EXR” format and not “Octane (EXR)”). FYI.

Prefer Octane-EXR and disable "show passes" if you have issues
Toche wrote:Thanks aoktar but with 'Octane(Exr)' and Show Passes OFF, I sometimes get the MID pass completely black (it's OK in the Live Viewer). I don't have this problem if I choose 'Octane'. (And also sometimes the first frame is not saved on certain passes).
Can I PM you this scene so you can test it and see if MID pass is not black on your side?
