Hello Aoktar,
i do a lot of product renders, and most of the time they need more than one alpha channel, is it possible in octane, like in cinema 4D/material, when you select a psd file, select a specific layer or alpha channel, in octane i need to create 2 files if I have more than one alpha channel.

Thanks,

uau aoktar. the scatter look promising! amazing that you do this.

another thing is coming up every version and i never talked about it:
please look at the image attached. when unfolding RGB spectrums in a mix-texture and using any slider, both sliders of both spektrums are linked somehow.. can you copy?

aoktar wrote:Thanks. I'm thinking to make a new TEST release with new Asynchronous system. I hope that will work perfect and much better. Even thinking to include a new SCATTER object as giving a preview and get feedbacks. It's still not perfect and somehow need some fixes about crashes. Also added PARTICLES tab to Object tag. Which is new way to use direct access to Xparticles, TFD, etc. It also some missing on features and stability but nice for preview.

This is very exciting. I am using both right now, and being forced to go back to Cinema for rendering

Octane has spoiled me!! Cannot wait for the next release!

Will that Scatter function be able to import *.CSV files? If it does, then Octane for C4D will become compatible with Phantom Scatter.

Hello,
Looks like x-particles doesn't work with this release. I mean only the pure particles, not generated geometry. I have checked "enable particle engine" but it doesn't help. Plug-in version 2.24.1 won't export particles, but everything works fine with plug-in version 2.23.2.

I'm running Windows 10 Pro (64bit), Cinema 4D R17 (64bit), X-Particles 3

Do you mean a import function for new scatter object to load phantom scatter files? If so why not?
