Other thing I notice is, every time I paste into a new project it creates another material for that object, but this is ok always happens, but the strange thing is if i select just one object of the ones I pasted make a copy and paste into a new project it paste the object, its material and all the other material pasted in the other project, I did some screen shots to explain better..

Thanks. I see. But solution can't be so simple as you could imagined. I found why happens but it can corrupt the some systems which i built over many things.

EDIT: I think that catched somethings about this. There is one mistake on me and plus a mysterious behaviour on mix material. I'll try to understand and fix.

Hi aoktar,

I noticed, that my GPU temperatures are getting up to about 60 degrees C just when i open the liveviewer in an empty scene and without starting any (preview-)rendering. My system tells me, that all 3 GPUs are in idlemode, so the have nothing to do. Nothing but cooling... :? Everything is cooling down again when switching back to C4D-Standard-Layout. And yes: I tried to open just the LiveviewerWindow without my Octanelayout and it happens again. ;)

Newest Plugin 2.24.1 R1 and actual Standalone, R17, 2x980Ti, 1x780

Thank you for any suggestions.

Best, Chriz

EDIT: I just testet it again and it seems as if my GPUs are heating up even more up to 70 degree C. That is just 10-15 degree below "real" render temperatures...

My system does the same. I always hit the 'stop' button as soon as I change to my Octane layout. It stops the video cards from heating up, but it is a bit strange that an empty scene is causing the cards run hot.

@ ChrisMills

I tried this, doesn´t work for me.. :( But thank you!

EDIT:

Found a workaround: It seems as if the GPUs don´t run, if i deselect them in the devicesettings. But why are they running without rendering something anyway? In that second i select a single GPU in the settings that Card is running at nearly max. MHz. even if the liveviewer is paused.

Please accept it as it's. I did everythings which is possible about it. Nothing else is possible without corrupt the workflow. Just keep LV closed. And don't use octane materials. If any Cuda content is available, gpu will be awake. Press to stop button can help also.

@aoktar

Thank You. Now i know it is a feature and not a bug ;)

Seriously: Thank you! Always good to know, it´s not the own system that fails somehow somewhere. So everything is fine!

BTW: Great work! I really love this plugin, i nearly forgot how to use the C4Drenderers ;)

Have a nice day!

Thanks. I'm thinking to make a new TEST release with new Asynchronous system. I hope that will work perfect and much better. Even thinking to include a new SCATTER object as giving a preview and get feedbacks. It's still not perfect and somehow need some fixes about crashes. Also added PARTICLES tab to Object tag. Which is new way to use direct access to Xparticles, TFD, etc. It also some missing on features and stability but nice for preview.
