Ok. I would really love to get this feature back. I use it all the time. Its a BIG time saver for seperating objects and testing out lighting/materials/mask etc without having to render the entire scene in the live viewer - or wasting time render to picture viewer while your testing...
May I suggest to work in a feature to make the live viewer render the same as the picture viewer. So when I define my render layer in the render settings, this is what will render in the live-viewer? That way there will be no confusion about control.

awesome plugin though! getting some pretty nice results in a fraction of the time :)


You don't need to make render to Picture Viewer. Render settings will lively affect the Live Viewer. Isn't ok that to use it through from render settings?

Yeah. Having some issues to compile on OSX R13. Let's hope for a version on latest 2.25.

Hey guys, I'm pretty sure you know the answer and this question is some sort of "basics" but I have no idea what's going on — as you may see from the screen below the result of the render seems different in LV and in Picture Viewer. All the settings is the same, why is that?

I clicked on the download for the C4D plugin and it led me here. Any suggestions? I have submitted a support request, but still waiting on an answer. Thanks in advance!

Hi,

I have two questiosn about this release:

1: Where does Octane4C4D save the login details file (like oiprefs for Maya)?
I need these to automate our pipeline.

2: Does this release work with the newer 1080 GPU's. The Maya plugin for Octane 2 does not (and will not start rendering).
I don't care if its optimised for it yet but I would just like to know if it renders as normal.

the new update for cinema4d 17 (UPDATE FROM CINEMA 4D R17.XX TO R17.055 (SP3.5)) .Crash the plugins and not work anymore... i much time for the octanec4d update.
