I'm rendering an Octane Volume object from a VDB file.
When using a Volume Medium (on the Volume Slot of the Volume Object) and using a "Volume Ramp Texture" for ScatteringRamp or EmissionRamp, changing the "Max. Grid Value" (of the VolumeRamp) does not always update the Octane viewport, whether the QuickUpdate is turned on or off.
- The "Update render geometry" button will update the scene according to the new value for "Max. Grid Value" parameter.
- Changing the "Max. Grid Value" parameter, then changing another parameter like the position of any color on the ramp, will also update the scene correctly.
By the way, still having so much fun rendering VDB volumes on Octane for 3ds Max.
