Use viewport background gives me a black image at render time. It works fine in the Octane viewport.

Please provide a more straightforward way to control backplates, IBL, reflection, refraction images. Currently, there is no way to render out 2d backplates successfully.

Octane version 3.08.1 - 5.09.

Currently, if you want to have a separate backplate/reflection/refraction image, you have to create multiple Octane Daylights. If you want to have different lighting scenarios in one file, it quickly becomes a mess. You would need 4 separate daylights per scenario worst case. Also, there's no way to have a 2d image as a backplate because the texture slot forces everything to spherical environment mapping.

All this could be accomplished in one Octane Daylight:

And here is the broken 'Use viewport background':
You will also notice that the Octane Daylight does not work in the viewports. Objects are completely unlit which makes it difficult to work.
