I have an urgent problem on a production project.
Recently, I purchased anima plugin (
https://secure.axyz-design.com/en/anima5) to animate 4D people.
Now, while rendering the animation, the materials of the models are messed up in some frames. Like if the wrong texture is applied on some frames. It works then again for some frames and then one frame is messed up again.
You can see some comparisons on attachments. Frame 105 looks good. The girls are playing. But Frame 106 is messed up. Then some frames are okay until one gets this error again..
I set up the scene with these steps:
1. Used anima drop to place the models.
2. Set the models to moveable proxy.
3. Render.
Maybe I missed some important steps how to set up 4D models properly in anima because it's a new tool for me.
The strange appearance also shows up in the Interactive Viewport in Octane Renderer.
I have to check if the error goes away unchecking "moveable proxy" but this would result in a long evaluation time for each frame and anima model resulting in huge render times. So it is not a real solution.
Ideas here? I contacted anima support as well. Unfortunately, it's a production project on a deadline.

EDIT:
Yesterday anima-Support told me to check "Force Update Timer on Prerender" and "Force Update View on Prerender". It's a known issue with Octane. But it didn't help.
At the moment, the only work-araound is to rebuild the complete scene for the specific frames which are showing the error.

EDIT 2:
I made further test and was able to track the problem down to the Motion Blur feature in Octane and made a video reproducing the issue.
You can see two things here which are only arising with anima.
Around 1:00 you see the materials failing.
Around 3:00 you see the Octane Viewport randomly restarting the rendering randomly.
Sorry for the shaky mobile recording and silent talking.
On the positive side for my current project, it seems as soon as I deactivate motion blur, all is fine. I can add MB in DaVinci Resolve.
