..can you implement this fix so the body objects show up in render like in viewport -
- switching to "mesh" and "both" back and forthmakes them look like they are supposed to

body utiliy.JPG

.. what I end up doing (sometimes) just going in the body properties, viewport display setting, switch display option to "mesh" and "both" .. forth and back, doesn't always work on first go - when in proxy mode anyway and live rendering - at least look at those parts in your programming thing, and could be a refresh solution there to implement

Hi Goldisart,
I think this issue depends on hdri light studio and not on Octane, as you can see in attached GIF.
I think that plugin fails with ram swap
Try again without hdri light studio.

your answer disappointed me. redshift and vray show that they have no memory overflow..... that hard takes me a month to use for your projects these manufacturers.... If you have worked with jewelry and Studio render themselves engaged in the Studio shooting you would be understood for what created this beautiful program HDRI Light studio /// and why are you showing me standard projects - try using the animation mesh try to use Phoenix with 500 and baleal million voxels - I'll see your tantrum using octane as the main element for work ..... very sad guys, very sad !!!!

............. we say in Russia - bad dancer legs hinder

I have always supported your work for your project .... but this answer makes me wonder whether it's necessary !

Hi Goldisart,
as you can see in my test, Octane has not overflow swap issue even with hdri Light studio.
Octane seems to work very well
Share your scene and I'll test it too.

yeah I went through all the options and it's intermittent, sometimes it works sometimes have to fiddle around, but almost never works on first try - I always add edit poly at the end to make sure - I mean can you implement it so we don't have to press this button - it's not how it's supposed to work I guess - body objects should be able to show up as edit poly anyway?

Hi Paride,
any news from Otoy when Phoenix FD wetmaps particles will be rendered as texture and not as 3d mesh. Thank you
