Sorry that I write here. I found a little problem in version 3.06.4-4.36 for 3ds max 2018.
In the Tools tab you need to press several times on the convert button All that would have triggered conversion.
The same problem, when I click on button Open OctaneRender viewport.

Hi Tema,
This is a 3dsMax 2018 bug, not related to Octane plugin.
Same thing happen with standard max buttons: ex, with scaneline renderer, tab 'Ray tracer', button 'Exclude'
buttons react to a mouse move, but nothing happens if window is not activated, so the first click just activate the window,
Changing to another tab, eg 'Advanced lighting', and again to 'Raytracer' also fail to respond to the click, even if the window is supposed to be activated.
We hope Autodesk will fix this in an update.
