Could you explain to me what is Octane Engine tech? So now I have to pay $9.99 + $9.99 (for plugin) a month? So in total $20??

Actually I'm not sure you still need standalone to use the OE plugins.

OctaneEngine is pretty hard to understand and still not there yet, but you can find some topics about it in the forum.
I prefer to let Octane Team explain it.
