Exporting obj from poser causing odd texture problems

I use a genesis 2 figure in poser and when rendering it in the demo version of poser plugin with 1.2 demo version, it's fine.

But if I export an obj from poser and load it into octane 1.2 student, there is an odd texture issue. Specifically, the pectoral group looks disconnected from the chest group. If you use poser genesis 2 you will know what I mean.

What I don't understand is why the demo with poser plugin doesn't have this problem. Is it to do with the obj export?

what skinning method are you using in poser? traditional?
if so try "Poser Unimesh"
figure/skinning method/Poser Unimesh
