Try reinstalling Octane after you updated C4D to 2023.1.3
That seemed to work for me (for now)

So this afternoon, I started using Octane and I couldn't believe I didn't get a crash. I thought the gremlins had gone and I was very happy. Unfortunately after dinner I went back in and C4D crashed. Aaaaargh. Very frustrating
I believe Beppe is on it although he is super busy one everything else. I don't think I am alone in my frustrations
