hello,

I use the plugin "OctaneRender for Revit 2014 Setup 1.20a beta"
it installs correctly, but window appears:

Sans titre-1.jpg

Then the plugin can only start if I'm on a 2D view and if I do not quickly pass a 3d view, relives crash.

Where is the problem?

thank you for your help.

Hi Didier

The plugin saves the scene data against the "Project Browser" scene object. I suspect that on the French version of Revit the "Project Browser" has a different name. I will download and install French Revit 2014. In the meantime, could I trouble you to post a screenshot of your project browser window pls?

Thanks - it will take a while for Revit French to download. In the meantime I will upload a version which handles this situation better, and tries to get the Project Browser by the term "arborescence du project". Should be uploaded in the next hour or so. I will post here when done.

I have posted a revised version of the plugin which will assist with this issue. Pls see http://render.otoy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=61&t=34040&p=149051#p149051. If the "Project Browser" is still not found (warnign message given by the plugin), pls let me know and I will install Revit French to fix the issue.

Hi everybody, i have the same message, but all is working well. Look at the short video.

A+ :D

Thank you Curci, for your solution but often Revit crash when even if I'm not fast enough in choosing the 3d view.
je suis certain que Paul va résoudre ce problème très vite.

En tout cas cela va être un vrai plaisir d'utiliser Octane avec Revit
In any case it will be a big pleasure to use with Revit Octane

Hi Didier - did you download and install the updated plugin? The update should stop the crash. If you are still getting a crash, pls provide details of the crash message. Also, what release of Revit or you on?

I have tried installing French Revit on 3 separate PC's now and cannot. I am re-downloading - perhaps the installer is corrupt.

One final thing....every bit of info helps me track down problems - so if you speak (type) in English, I might pick something up that help rectify the problem you are having sooner.

Thanks

Paul
