Proxies rotated(?) suddenly

Hello guys,

here a short clip of an animation I just made, just 10 frames running @ 1fps. Between frame 4 and 5 the proxy-trees on the right rotate (I suppose so) suddenly.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WMYdiE7 ... e=youtu.be

All was rendered in one pass and without scene rebuliding.
No such problem in this animation (only the darker trees on the hillside are proxies): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VAF78lSRdX0

Why?

Greetings,
Artur

Hi Artur - it looks like maybe the Face Camera checkbox has been ticked for those trees. Or the tree object is being rotated by ArchiCAD (if that is possible).

Hi Paul,

well, the object which the proxies are connected to doesn't even have the 'Face Camera' option
as it is a simple 3D-obejct, not a 2D-bitmap or so (I don't use such obects at all).
For intentional rotating of the trees I would have to generate the .csv again or edit it etc. - so I can exclude that.

I just made a little test with a 'Face Camera' object right now; even with 'Rebuild Model for Each Frame' checked ON
and rendered with Octane, the object is not rotated towards the Cam at all, it stays static!

It seems to have s.th. to do with the route - but there's nothing special in it. And this "jump" doesn't appear in the other
routes there. If you still have the last PLA I've sent to you, you can have a look on the route (04 Strasse mit West) if you want.

Greetings,
Artur

Artur - in the last scene you sent me, 3D 04 was "Wohnheime Ost". Do I have the right scene?

..could be that the numeration got changed - but "Strasse mit West" should look like this:

I just noticed that you've got a very reduced version without any trees - I'm going to upload the actual state as "full" PLA (without zipping) and send you a mail when finished.
