So.. Here is my first scene with octane.. I hope you like it. Some of the renders are with pathtracing and some others with directlighting.

I can't wait for area lights to come :-)

Thanks for watching

Very nice and realistic models and materials.
Give us information about your hardware and render times, please.
I cant resist to run one of your images through Hotpixels.
It is freeware:

Cheers mib

Runs also under linux with wine. ;)

Hey thanks, and also for reminding me the name of the hotpixels software.

My PC is:
i7 720
GTS 250
6GB RAM

Now, except for that render you fixed in hotpixels (thanks ;) the rendertimes were about 2 minutes I think
The close up of the bass though, was running for over 10-15 minutes

Side note: I had quite a hard time creting the material of the bridge (the metal structure that holds the strings to the bottom).
I couldnt and still havent get the result I wanted. With pathtracing, the bridge either looked blown up or not reflecting.
With directlighting cause of the Ambient Occlusion, it kinda worked but still not there.

Hey - a lefty bass! Very cool renders. I would like to see the exposure cranked up a little, but you can always adjust the WB after the fact, I guess. Great stuff!
