Woooow !
Impressive ;)

I love robots

Two questions,
what do you used for modelling?
how do you get the background to be blurred, do you use DOF ?

hey, just using blender and a lots of patience (it's realy not the best for this kind of work i admit)

and the BG is one of the hdri map provided with the demo version of octane, the blur effect is in the map and mayby the DOF help a little..
I realy need to turn to an other modelling tool;)

In the futur you should add somewhere what is needed for people that want to be in gallery
So you don't need to always ask to people to add credits for the gallery ;)

something like
NAME / POLYCOUNT / RENDERTIME / GPU

Good work on this claw, even more impressive because its made with blender

Why does Blender get such a bad rap? It is just as capable as any other 3d app. I don't use it anymore, but that is what I started with for years.

It got me started in 3D, I still use it everyday in our company pipeline for modeling, 9 years later. Wouldn't have my job if I hadn't found Blender.

One of the most feature rich 3D apps out there, it's like combining all the tool sets of the most famous 3D apps into one. (& compositing, game engine, physics, fluid & cloth sims etc etc

Nice modeling & render dude.

Big up Blender, & blend the planet.
