Creating fog

Hey Paul,
I'm trying to create God rays. I have a box perimeter. With a volume medium activated.
I've been going through settings trying to get it to work. I have a light on the outside of the box.
There's a box on the inside that I want to get hit with the god rays. I even tried applying the volume medium to the environment settings. But still can't get it right.
The fog is there. but no rays.

Thanks,

I spartan, I've tried around with this in the past but never was fully satisfied with the results.

If you've gotten some good results on this from within Poser, maybe you could share a little how-to with an hands-on example that can be replicated properly within Poser?
Maybe even share a scene file with some simple primitives, as your example screenshot? That'd be great, thanks! :)
