Is there a avi, QT or mov export feature being added in the future?
That would be nice, but I'm not sure how all the different movie formats could be covered without using a 3rd party library, which would push up the cost of the plugin significantly. At the moment you can compress the frame into whatever format you like using whatever software you have, which seems like a good workflow. Regardless of the movie format it renders to, you are still most likely going to do some post work on the clip (titles, etc), so it's just as easy to feed the clip editing software png frames as an avi.
