No Octane logs there
That means the plugin has not been installed. What folders do you have under "C:\Program Files\Smith Micro\Poser Pro 2014\Runtime\Python\addons\" (assuming you installed Poser Pro 2014 to C:\Program Files\Smith Micro\Poser Pro 2014).
Render target, Load from Default is greyed out.
That means you have not previously saved a rendertarget as the default.
if I change the lights in Poser 2012, and refresh the scene in Octane, it does not change the light setup, more specifically, the IBL light. Example, Poser 2012 light IBL/AO called "road and sky", In Poser changed it to "Sun Right", and in Octane hit the refresh button (circle with arrow) and does not update the setting Octane.
The IBL light is considered a material by Poser, and the IBL texturemap is attached as a material. As with all materials, if you change them in Poser, the plugin will not automatically bring them across (because you may not want that to happen). It is easier to simply load "Sun Right" into the "image" node of the "environment" in the plugin Settings tab. Or, load it into the Poser IBL material, then click on the image selection button of the environment "image" node in the plugin, and select the IBL from the Poser textures (in the Poser Image Files dropdown).
