Sadly i cant reproduce either.

- The octane log (system tab) shows some times the following (not Always, most times only the first line is showing)
05:16:31.938: +++++ Plugin running.
05:17:01.935: Tried to access attribute via invalid index 0

- Happens on accesing all/different prefrences tabs
- Happens when appleing changes when the viewport is open and/or closed.

The moment the "slowdown" in changes starts, it helps to save the scene and restart DAZ studio. After a restart it works again smoother/all changes get applied.

I'm using
- DAZ studio version 4.9.2.70 (win 10 Pro 64)
- Octane plugging with default settings, except "Automatic material update after content load" (not checked, do that manually from the material tab)
Intel I7 6700k, 24 GB RAM, MSI Geforce GTX 1070/ MSI GeForce GTX 760

Hi Paul
I'm still having some trouble with the network rendering.

I'm using all the latest version, but it seems that I cannot "see" the slave.

I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, since I always used the network rendering without any problem.

Any help is really appreciated.

Thanks!

Sorry you are having problems with this. This is a general Octane issue - so I suggest posting your problem in the Octane Standalone 3.03.2 test thread, where the Otoy devs can take a closer look. Soirry I can't be more help.

Why don't daz plug-ins make it can be used offline? I have c4d plugins, that could be used offline, more convenient, because I often work in the absence of the network, hope that the next version can be used offline, Thank you!

You can - run the installer, then click the activation button and de-activate and then re-activate with Offline ticked. Or you can re-authenticate Octane Standalone on the same PC and do the same thing and it will apply the Offline authentication to the plugins on that PC too.

I see, thanks anyway :)

Edit : Any "news" about the ability to change the render setting and set to default ?
Thanks!

Unsure exactly which change you are referring to. Can you provide a link pls?

Thanks. I'm sorry - but there has been no progress on this. May I suggest you set your defaults in the plugin and then save it as a "starter scene", so every new scene starts with loading that scene, which will mean each new scene has your Octane defaults.

Well, seems like a nice suggestion, but I need more information :D

I don't know where to save this setting for example :)
Also, when you said : "save it" do you mean I need to click export or New ?

Ps I solved my problem with the Network Rendering. One of our computer was no longer part of the "home" group (I'm using Win7) ... :?
