That is strange. When I was using Octane 3 I never noticed a milkiness with specular set to 1. The only case would be that the Index of Refraction was higher than 2.
I will test and investigate this a bit more and return with more detailed feedback.

I'm not sure. A specular value of 1 is very high. If you use lower values, the milkness is minimised. You are not going to get a one-to-one relationship between an Octane material and the Rhino preview window.So Rhino6 needs to be fixed by McNeel in some way ?!
