Hi Juanjo,
For information, i always have the slave deamon crash when i made a selected region. It'a appear on a big scene and does'nt crash the master PC, just Slave deamon !
PS : Any chance to have sphere light in 3.06 ?

Hi,

Octane 3.06 has some fixes related to the render region and the network rendering, so perhaps this issue is already fixed.

The 3.06 plugin version is almost ready using the Octane 3.06 TEST2 API. I was waiting only to see if we can get a new Octane core API with some issues fixed, like for example a crash in the triplanar texture node. Anyway if it is not available in a couple of days, I'll release the plugin with the Octane 3.06 TEST2 core.

Hi there in regards to slave crashing, I'm rendering an animation and if one of the slaves crashes then the whole animation hangs. Is there a timeout option so this doesn't happen. It would be nice to be able to leave the rendering overnight and come back without a worry.
Please let me know.

I'm using 3_05_3 standalone and plugin as there isn't a compatible plugin for the latest standalone for c4d.
