Cast shadow means that the light geometry (for example the quad plane of a quad light) doesn't cast shadows from the other lights. This parameter is to hide the shadows of the light object geometry, not to disable the shadows of the emitted light.

my lights always cast shadows.

if a light is under an another, his shadow is always cast even if i uncheck the cast shadow options, that s my problem. i use 2.6.1 version

i d like to know if you got the same thing please

Here it works fine. If I disable the "shape cast shadows" option, the light object doesn't cast shadows.

Can you share your test scene?

i think i have some problems with my personnal complex scene where my post comfrom.
